Design & Tooling
Our design team can take any concept from idea to blueprint. We utilize current industry standard software both in design and production. Our 3D cad/cam milling, turning, and EDM software allows us to produce precision and speed you can count on, at an affordable price.
Once a design is complete, we have experienced Toolmakers and Machinist to make that design a reality. Our dedicated toolroom is well equipped for die maintenance, prototyping, production machining, progressive and form die builds. We have multi-axis CNC milling and turning centers for a variety of applications. We strive to provide the latest technology and equipment to remain competitive in an ever-changing world.
Stamping & Manufacturing
E-Lite Tool has a full-service stamping department with eight high speed presses ranging from 45 to 175 tons. Pairing the presses with servo driven feeds means an efficient setup process and quicker run times. With the servo feeds maximum width being 24” it allows a wide variety of flat and formed progressive tool applications. We have air cushions on the large presses for deep drawing operations forming a wide range of parts. We have the ability to mass produce products from materials ranging in thickness from .005” to .250”. Along with our stamping abilities we also have spot, mig, and tig welding, vibratory deburring, fabrication, assembly and packaging, and a variety of other manual operations.
CNC Machining & Wire EDM
E-Lite Tool has a dedicated tool room full of modern CNC equipment. Adjusting to the changing times and consistently adding new machinery and equipment allows us to stay competitive and precise. With five CNC mills and three CNC lathes we can keep up with high volume work orders. Our turning capability can reach up to 59” in length and up to 12” in diameter. Another lathe is equipped with a part catcher and bar feeder capable of using 5’ long and 2.5” diameter material. This allows us to run production lights out within those specifications. Our milling centers are capable of turning up to 15,000 rpms allowing us to machine at an extremely competitive rate. Pairing speed and strength with our ability to travel 30”x60” on our mills makes for a broad range of ability. We regularly machine products within a .0005” tolerance. When we need to be even more accurate, we turn to our two wire EDM machines.
Wire EDM are one of the most accurate and precise ways to cut metal. Our wire EDM machines are capable of cutting 4 axis and are accurate within a tenth of a thousandth of an inch (.0001”). They have the ability to cut a range of 27.5”x15.9” wide and up to 15” in thickness.
Shearing, Forming, & Welding
Along with our die building, stamping, turning, and milling, we also have press brake forming, shearing, and welding capabilities. Combining these together allows for an assortment of fabrication jobs. Our shear is able to cut material up to 10 feet in length and as thick as .250”. Our press brake has the power to form with 90 tons of pressure and up to 8 feet in length. Custom rails are able to be made to achieve a variety of finished products.
